Todd Selby is a distinguished portrait, interiors, and fashion photographer, as well as a talented illustrator, celebrated for his innovative project, The Selby. This captivating endeavor offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of creative individuals, showcasing their personal spaces through an artist's discerning eye for detail. Launched in June 2008, The Selby began as a simple website, www.theselby.com, where Todd shared evocative photo shoots of his friends within the comfort of their homes. The project quickly gained traction, attracting daily requests from a global audience eager to have their own spaces featured. The site emerged as a cultural touchstone, drawing up to 95,000 unique visitors each day, and capturing the attention of prestigious brands seeking collaboration. Over the years, Todd has partnered with an array of renowned companies, including Louis Vuitton, Hennessy, and FENDI. His work has been integral to high-profile campaigns, such as a significant collaboration with Nike 6.0, a solo exhibition at colette, and international ad campaigns for Habitat. His contributions have extended to esteemed publications, including The New York Times T Magazine, Vogue Paris, and Architectural Digest Paris. Todd's first book, *The Selby is In Your Place*, was published by Abrams in May 2010, followed by the acclaimed *The Edible Selby* in 2012, which highlights the creativity and innovation of culinary artists worldwide. The third installment in the 'Selby' series, *Fashionable Selby*, is set to release in March 2014, promising to delve into the vibrant world of fashion through profiles of today's most intriguing designers, stylists, and artisans. Before dedicating himself to The Selby full-time, Todd's eclectic career path included roles as a translator, Tijuana tour guide for the International Brotherhood of Machinists, researcher in the California strawberry industry, cartographer in Costa Rica, consultant on political corruption for a Mexican senator, art director at a venture capital firm, exotic flower wholesaler, Japanese clothing designer, and vermicomposting entrepreneur. Currently residing in New York, Todd enjoys a variety of pastimes, including savoring four square meals a day, perfecting the art of tying his shoes, planning adventures, troubleshooting his computer mishaps, and working diligently on his tan.
