Tara is a distinguished contemporary food photographer, whose artistic journey began with a BA in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art. Over the past fourteen years, she has emerged as a leading figure in her field, capturing the essence of culinary art with a remarkable blend of beauty, composition, and human connection to food. Her work has taken her around the globe, from vibrant market stalls to her serene London studio, where she brings a unique perspective to every shot. Tara's keen eye for detail and her deep understanding of food trends allow her to create imagery that resonates with audiences and evokes emotion. Throughout her career, Tara has collaborated with some of the world’s most celebrated chefs and talented food stylists, producing stunning photography that elevates the culinary experience. Her impressive portfolio includes commissions from renowned advertising agencies such as AMV BBDO, BBH, CHI, JWT, and Lowe, working with esteemed brands like Tesco, Philadelphia, Waitrose, KFC, Burger King, Anchor, Sainsbury’s, McCain’s, and Arla. In addition to her commercial success, Tara has contributed her photographic expertise to several acclaimed cookbooks alongside culinary icons including Jamie Oliver, Thomasina Miers, Annie Rigg, Rachel Allen, James Martin, and Michel Roux Jr. Her innovative work was recently recognized at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, where her award-winning campaign, Tesco Love Stories, created by BBH, clinched the Grand Prix in the Media Lion category.
