Bio
Tara's artistic journey is deeply rooted in her upbringing in the countryside, where the warmth of family gatherings and the joy of shared meals fostered her appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. Surrounded by exceptional cooks and bakers, she learned to value the connections formed around the table, a theme that resonates throughout her work. Drawing inspiration from her daily experiences—whether it's exploring local farm stands, cooking with friends, or immersing herself in the beauty of nature—Tara's creativity flourishes in both familiar and unexpected settings. Her versatility shines through as she effortlessly transitions between the serene confines of her studio and the dynamic challenges of outdoor shoots. This adaptability allows her to craft compelling narratives, whether through photography or film. With a keen eye for light and composition, Tara captures moments that radiate authenticity, infusing each project with warmth and energy. After earning her BFA in Art Photography from Syracuse University, Tara honed her editorial and production expertise as a photo editor for esteemed publications such as *Domino*, *Real Simple*, and *Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia*. Her work has garnered accolades from prestigious organizations including PDN, Communication Arts, and American Photography.
