Sydney Prop Specialists grew from humble beginnings in the early 80s dressing sets for bands. What started with a vase of flowers on a plinth quickly blossomed into themed presentations that encompassed the entire room. Over the years the prop collection has grown into one of the largest in Australia and the business has diversified and expanded. The 10,000m² facility in Marrickville incorporates a showroom, warehouse of props, highly skilled prop builders and 20 fulltime staff working to create unique large scale events. Nestled in the same building is Sydney Props Photo Studios – eight unique themed photo studios where content creators produce tv shows, commercials and feature films and where photographers and their models work on a daily basis, creating the latest trends. We have recently absorbed two new companies Sydney Studio Lighting and Chair Covers Candelabra with over 1000 event chairs and table linen servicing weddings and corporate events with decor. We also have the wonderful artisans of Custom Elements, our construction and prop making division and Sydney Event Services, supplier of audio visual equipment, studio lights and large screen display technology. These five divisions form The Sydney Props Group of companies – our family of talented creatives, servicing Sydney’s advertising and event industries.
