Bio

Sebastian Jung is a dynamic illustrator and communication designer residing in Düsseldorf, known for his vibrant, whimsical, and unconventional artistic style. With an ever-evolving approach, Sebastian continually seeks to push the boundaries of his signature lines, most recently delving into the captivating world of 3D artistry. The inception of "Studio Ayuhara" was born from a unique necessity. Throughout his career, Sebastian has often encountered challenges with identity, sharing his name with multiple peers—so much so that during his school years, he was one of four Sebastians in his class. This naming confusion was further compounded by the presence of a prominent German footballer who shares his name. To carve out a distinctive identity in the creative landscape, Sebastian adopted the moniker "Ayuhara." This name pays homage to his childhood admiration for the main character in the beloved anime series "アタックNo.1" (Attack No.1 or Mila Superstar). It also reflects his deep appreciation for Japanese culture, which is a significant part of his daily life, as Düsseldorf is home to Germany's largest Japanese community. Through "Studio Ayuhara," Sebastian Jung not only showcases his artistic vision but also celebrates the rich cultural influences that shape his work and identity.
