Stefan is a visionary artist who has crafted a distinctive visual language that resonates deeply with the emotions of a contemporary generation. His work is a captivating blend of experimentation and groundedness; through innovative creative references and fresh visual interpretations, he unveils the essence that often eludes the casual observer. After an enriching period in New York, Stefan returned to the enchanting landscapes of the Black Forest in 2017, which has since become both a wellspring of inspiration and a sanctuary for creative dialogue. It was here that he co-founded the magazine OG Projects alongside fellow artist Stefan Strumbel. Now in its third season, OG Projects serves as a vibrant platform for artistic exploration and has become a notable backdrop for Jil Sander's acclaimed “Polaroid Project.” Stefan’s photography skillfully navigates the intersections of art, portraiture, and fashion, seamlessly merging meticulous staging with an invigorating sense of spontaneity. His ability to juxtapose diverse genres—ranging from intimate portraits and dynamic group shots to intricate still lifes and evocative landscapes—allows him to continually redefine narrative forms. Through his lens, Stefan invites viewers on a transformative journey, challenging perceptions and igniting curiosity.
