Sophy Holland is an acclaimed British photographer and director based in New York, bringing over 12 years of diverse experience in the fashion, advertising, and film industries. A proud graduate of Central Saint Martins, Holland began her career as an Art Director, where she crafted visually striking narratives for both television and print, contributing her artistic vision to a wide array of editorial and advertising campaigns on a global scale. Holland’s directorial debut came with the poignant short film "Brace," which garnered recognition at over 50 international film festivals. The film has since gained acclaim as an educational resource, dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth in London against gang violence. This powerful beginning launched her into a successful career directing a blend of advertising and socially conscious film projects. Among her notable achievements is the Women’s History Month initiative with BET Networks, which won a prestigious Gold PROMAX Award. She also directed the impactful Tory Burch "Embrace Ambition" PSA, featuring more than 40 celebrities who confront the negative stigma surrounding ambitious women. Additionally, her work with Swarovski includes seasonal campaigns that spotlighted supermodel Karlie Kloss alongside 12 of the brand's global ambassadors. Holland's creative vision extends to documentary filmmaking, as exemplified by her full-length film "Illustrated Man," which explores the intersection of tattoo culture and contemporary fashion. Her recent documentary, "Unravelling the Pink Ribbon," produced in partnership with the Estée Lauder Companies, delves into the history of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the broader fight against breast cancer, earning a Gold Sabre Award for its impactful storytelling. Throughout her career, Sophy Holland has lent her photographic expertise to prestigious brands such as Pfizer, Cosmopolitan Hotel, MTV, Paula's Choice, Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Vogue, Elle, Tatler, Harper's Bazaar, L'Officiel, Marriott Hotels, and Viacom, among many others.
