Simon, born in the vibrant 1980s in Paris, was nurtured in a creative household, with an artist mother and a photographer father who instilled in him a deep appreciation for visual storytelling. This unique upbringing ignited his passion for photography, often referred to as the eighth art. After spending his formative years immersed in scientific exploration and globe-trotting adventures, Simon returned to his roots, choosing to study photography in the heart of Paris, where he continues to reside. Drawing from his "mad scientist" background, Simon’s work transcends mere representation; he endeavors to unearth the true essence of the objects and materials he captures. Through his lens, he breathes life into still images, inviting viewers to discover the beauty in the overlooked and the extraordinary in the ordinary.
