Scott Poiley is a multifaceted artist whose journey began in the vibrant realms of dance and film. A gifted dancer and actor, Scott honed his craft under the mentorship of the legendary Gregory Hines and has shared the stage with esteemed talents such as Ben Vereen, Steve Condos, Jimmy Slide, Savion Glover, and the illustrious Duke Ellington Band. His passion for performing arts propelled him to New York, where he captivated audiences in a variety of theatrical productions and national tours. Beyond his dynamic dance career, Scott is an accomplished writer, director, and producer, earning accolades for his innovative storytelling and cinematic vision. He has garnered several prestigious awards, including the iHORROR AWARD for Best Direct Release Horror Film and the GOLDEN SKULL award for Best Supernatural Film with his chilling feature, LAST SHIFT. His script VITRUVIAN earned him the esteemed GRAND JURY PRIZE at THE CREATIVE AWARDS, showcasing his talent in the sci-fi genre. Since launching his feature-length content development in 2013, Scott has created a compelling body of work, including the films CASSADAGA (2013), MISSIONARY (2014), LAST SHIFT (2015), and HER LAST WILL (2016). His directorial prowess shines in projects like EXHUME (2016), MISFITS (2017), GOOSE (2017), THE SECRET BOOK (2017), THE NUTCRACKER (2017), LET THE SPIRIT MOVE YOU (2018), and BIRD’S EYE (2018), the latter of which received BEST FILM accolades at numerous festivals. His poignant work SOUND LANGUAGE (2018) was honored with the HUMANITARIAN AWARD, further solidifying his impact on the industry.
