Salamagica is a dynamic visual production studio nestled in the vibrant landscape of Chile. Founded in 2008 by the visionary photographer and CGIist Ricardo Salamanca, Salamagica artfully blends diverse graphic techniques—including photography, matte painting, and cutting-edge CGI—to create striking visual narratives. Ricardo leads a talented team of 3D graphic designers and photo retouchers, each contributing their unique skills to elevate the studio’s creative output. Salamagica has had the privilege of collaborating with a prestigious roster of clients, including Sea Shepherd, Jeep, New York Botanics, Hyundai, Play-Doh, Mercedes-Benz, Amnesty International, and Land Rover, among others. The studio's innovative approach and seamless integration of various artistic techniques have not only set it apart but also fostered enduring partnerships with world-renowned brands. Salamagica's excellence in visual storytelling has been recognized annually since 2011 with accolades at the Cannes Lions Awards. Notably, in 2019, the studio earned a Bronze Lion for the VW Dream Pack and an Epica Award for its impactful campaign with Sea Shepherd, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in the realm of visual production.
