Roberto Badin, a Brazilian-born artist hailing from the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, has established himself as a dynamic force in the world of photography. After spending several transformative years in Paris, Roberto's creative journey has led him to collaborate with an impressive array of international brands, including Nespresso, Absolut, and Toyota. His lens has graced the pages of esteemed publications such as The New York Times, Vogue Brazil, Madame Figaro, and L’Officiel, while his work has adorned the campaigns of renowned fashion houses like Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Miu Miu, Chloé, Dior, Chivas, KaDeWe, and Hennessy. Initially embarking on his career as a fashion photographer, Roberto quickly discovered a profound fascination with the intricacies of still life photography. He believes that “capturing life is the most important part of still life photography,” a philosophy that underpins his artistic vision and practice. Roberto's creative prowess garnered significant recognition following his McDelivery campaign in 2019, earning him several prestigious accolades, including the coveted Yellow Pencil at D&AD in the photography category. In November 2018, Roberto published his first book, *Inside Japan*, through Benjamin Blanck Editions. This captivating work was subsequently showcased at the renowned Arles Photography Festival in 2019, further solidifying his status as a noteworthy to contemporary photography.
