Bio
Robert Behar is an accomplished Wardrobe Stylist and Costume Designer, renowned in the fashion industry for over two decades. Raised in Paris, he cultivated his passion for fashion at the Atelier Leconte art school and furthered his studies at the Université of Beaux Arts in Paris. His early career included assisting behind the scenes at fashion shows for esteemed designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Thierry Mugler, followed by a five-year role as the assistant to the Fashion Editor at Domino magazine. To expand his clientele, Robert relocated to Los Angeles, where he has since contributed to notable fashion editorial shoots for prestigious publications including Esquire, Vogue, and GQ, while also executing high-profile advertising campaigns for major brands like Chrysler and Coca-Cola. His collaborations extend to iconic musicians, such as Coldplay and Janet Jackson, with whom he has crafted wardrobe designs for tours and prominent appearances, including Janet's American Idol finale gown displayed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Robert divides his time between Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and London, continuously working with some of fashion's most celebrated photographers.
