Renaud Marion is a Paris-based photographer with roots in the breathtaking landscapes of the French Alps. His artistic journey began with formal studies in photography at EFET, after which he honed his skills as an assistant to renowned photographers in the fields of advertising, fashion, and lifestyle. Now an independent artist, Renaud collaborates with prominent advertising agencies such as Havas, BDDP&Fils, TBWA, DDB, and Publicis, as well as with architects and various publications. His work is characterized by a keen eye for large landscapes that capture extraordinary natural light and vibrant colors, alongside a fascination with the aesthetic beauty found in everyday life and its people. Renaud's exceptional talent for graphic composition and framing elevates architectural and interior photography, allowing him to create striking visual narratives. In 2017, Renaud was a finalist in the prestigious HSBC Photography Prize for his captivating series "Pilosius," which explores the whimsical search for a mythical hairy monster in the mountains—a quest that enticed both local police and curious onlookers alike. His earlier series, "Air Drive," debuted in 2015 and featured vintage cars seemingly floating through space. This thought-provoking project resonated with younger generations, prompting reflections on their futures and the passage of time. "Air Drive" garnered significant acclaim, appearing in numerous publications and showcased in exhibitions in Geneva and Lisbon.
