PICTVRE is a collaboration between Veronica Crockford-Pound (Director) and Joseph Griffen (Photographer/Cinematographer). PICTVRE maintains a socially-oriented sensibility with an emphasis on empowered casting and representation. Grounded in an art-based practice, PICTVRE works across multiple mediums with diverse references that span performance art, surrealism, painting, and cinema. They have been featured on international platforms, including Vogue, Dazed, iD Magazine and Wallpaper. Their clients include Lorde, M.A.C. Cosmetics, Paris Georgia, Kate Sylvester, Georgia Jay, Jessica McCormack, Godavari Diamonds, Fourth St, Sans Ceuticals, Converse, Les Mills, Stolen Girlfriend’s Club & MONDAY haircare. — JOSEPH GRIFFEN was the co-founder of renowned artist-run spaces FERARI (2012-2014), and ROCKIES (2014-2016). He has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery of New Zealand and obtained his Master’s Degree from the Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland. Joseph has also won the acclaimed Wooden Pencil, D&AD (2017) and Gold Axis Award (2017). VERONICA CROCKFORD-POUND graduated with First Class Honours, BFA (Hons) from the Elam School of Fine Arts. She went on to curate the iconic female-led contemporary dealer galleries in Tāmaki Makaurau - Sue Crockford & Hopkinson Mossman.
