Pia Grimbühler, a talented food photographer and filmmaker, draws profound inspiration from the Italian philosophy of "La Dolce Vita," which has shaped her artistic journey. Following her graduation from the Zurich School of Design with a photography diploma, Pia spent five transformative years in Tuscany, where she immersed herself in the vibrant local culture and culinary traditions. This experience ignited her passion for storytelling through food, leading her photographic work to evolve into a captivating exploration of gastronomy. Upon returning to Switzerland, Pia broadened her expertise by studying media economics and media management at the School of Design in Bern and Biel. She then established her own photography studio in Zurich, where she skillfully blends studio work with dynamic on-location assignments. Her portfolio boasts collaborations with esteemed chefs, renowned restaurants, and luxury hotels, capturing the essence of their culinary artistry. Pia’s striking imagery has graced advertising campaigns, food magazines, and cookbooks, showcasing her ability to convey the beauty and narrative behind each dish.
