Paul Whitfield is a London-based photographer whose work focuses on capturing the visceral and physical elements of his subjects, juxtaposing these against carefully curated concepts. By playing with space and the serendipitous moments that arise between these elements, he creates depth and narrative in his photography. His gritty, intuitive shooting style brings a raw honesty to his aesthetic, effectively bringing his vision to life. Paul has adeptly integrated his distinctive style into his commercial work, seamlessly transitioning between artistic and commercial realms. Paul holds a BA Hons in Photographic Art and has a background in Fine Art. Originally from Bristol, UK, he was influenced by the vibrant music and street art scene of the 90s, which has shaped his energetic and raw approach to photography that continues to be evident in his work today.
