Paola Kudacki is a celebrated photographer and director hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, whose work resonates deeply within the realms of contemporary portraiture. Inspired by her artistic father, Kudacki's creative journey began with painting, drawing, and ballet before she discovered her true passion for photography. After relocating to New York, she quickly garnered recognition as one of the most respected photographers of her generation, renowned for her ability to intimately connect with and capture the essence of her subjects. Throughout her illustrious career, Kudacki has had the privilege of photographing an array of iconic figures, including Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie, Adam Driver, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. Her striking imagery has graced the covers of prestigious publications such as Time and Vogue, showcasing her unique perspective and stylistic flair. In 2019, Kudacki took on the role of guest editor for an issue of HUMANITY magazine dedicated to her daughter, Neon. This special edition featured powerful photographs and interviews with inspiring women around the globe, including survivors of gun violence, passionate ian environmental activists, and the distinguished ballet dancer Marianela Núñez, the first ballerina at the Royal Opera House. Kudacki's extensive background in photography seamlessly transitioned into directing, where she continues to explore the interplay of human form and movement as vital expressions of art. Her recent projects include film and still campaigns for renowned brands such as Calvin Klein, Nike, Estée Lauder, and Tamara Mellon, alongside an ongoing collaboration with the Metropolitan Opera. Additionally, in 2020, she joined forces with her longtime friend Dave Grohl to create visuals for the premier singles from the Foo Fighters’ album *Medicine at Midnight*, further solidifying her dynamic presence in the worlds of photography and film.
