Bio

Let’s talk about the saltwater nose rush. Hours after being thrashed in the surf, it hits without warning—you could be mid-client dinner or mid-kiss when seawater gushes from your nose, surprising everyone and dousing anyone in range.  Nick knows it well. Growing up on Australia’s East Coast, he spent his days camping, surfing, and swimming, It fostered a deep love of the elements and taught him the importance of getting as close to the energy as possible. Facing a five-metre great white, to capturing medieval football mayhem or bushfire devastation, Nick seeks out the energy and adjusts for the light. While in London, he documented a nation’s grief after the monarch’s death, earning awards and international exhibitions. Nick is now based in Sydney with his partner Lauren and baby Sid. When he’s not shooting for clients like Unyoked, Procreate & Monocle, he enjoys escaping on road trips, staring into campfires (the bush telly) and having saltwater stuffed up his nose.
