Bio

Michele Aboud is a Sydney-based portrait and beauty photographer and film director with international experience across Sydney, New York, London, and Paris. Her work has appeared in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Interview US, Glamour US, Rolling Stone, and Elle, with portrait subjects including Cate Blanchett, Baz Luhrmann, Hugo Weaving, and Deborah Harry, Wim Wenders and portraits held in the National Portrait Gallery of Australia. Commercial clients include L'Oréal, Lancôme, Singapore Airlines, Swarovski, and Toyota, with agencies including Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, and McCann. A National Portrait Gallery prize finalist in both London and Canberra, her debut documentary A Close Shave screened at 12 international film festivals, from the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre Hollywood to Woodstock and Berlin, winning Best Documentary in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
