Massimo, born in the picturesque town of Como, Italy, discovered his passion for photography at the tender age of twelve when he received his first camera. This early fascination propelled him to study at the prestigious London College of Printing in the 1960s, laying a strong foundation for a diverse career that spanned photojournalism and cinematography in film and television. However, it was his commitment to personal projects that truly set him apart. Focusing on large-format images that capture the joy and exuberance of people in moments of celebration, Massimo's work began to resonate on a global scale, earning him widespread recognition. His captivating images have garnered commissions from major publications and have been featured in exhibitions worldwide, enriching both private and public collections. With three published monographs to his name and contributions to numerous photographic books and anthologies, Massimo's artistic footprint is substantial. Even after two decades dedicated to refining his craft, he continues to be invigorated by the medium, drawn to the intricate details that photography can unveil. Currently, he divides his time between the serene landscapes of Lucca, Italy, and the vibrant cultural scene of Berlin, Germany, where he continues to explore and create.
