Martika Avalon de Sanders, born in 1990 in Amsterdam, has always been captivated by the power of images. After enrolling at the Fotovakschool in 2008, she quickly became passionate about photography, graduating with a bachelor's degree in just two years. An internship with acclaimed photographer Pamela Hanson in New York City helped her hone her skills. Following this, she embarked on a career focusing on portrait and fashion photography, soon attracting the attention of various magazines and fashion brands. Her client list includes bestselling authors, fashion companies, musicians, and celebrities from around the world, spurred by her travels that greatly inspire her work. Martika's photographic style is recognized for its clean, minimalistic, and colorful aesthetic, effectively showcasing the unique beauty of her subjects. Currently, she divides her time between Amsterdam and Los Angeles, planning to return to California permanently.
