Bio

Mark Borgions (b. 1967) is a distinguished designer and illustrator whose creative journey began with a graphic design degree from Sint Lucas Antwerp in 1989. Initially carving out his career in graphic design at various boutique agencies, he soon rose to prominence as the lead designer at the renowned Belgian advertising agency Duval Guillaume. Here, he honed his skills in design, typography, and motion graphics, contributing to significant campaigns for major brands. Recognizing his passion for illustration and animation, Borgions made a pivotal shift in 2002 by founding Handmade Monsters. This venture allowed him to fully embrace his artistic vision, merging graphic design with his love for illustrative storytelling. Since its inception, Handmade Monsters has become a creative powerhouse, producing comprehensive design packages for all major television channels in Flanders. Additionally, Borgions has crafted captivating still and motion visuals for an array of both national and international campaigns, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and innovative force in the design and animation landscape.
