Manuel Archain invites viewers into a surreal realm where the boundaries of possibility are pushed and redefined. Born in Buenos Aires, Archain's artistic journey began in the nurturing environment of his mother’s studio, where the renowned artist Silvina Viaggio guided his early explorations in sculpture, drawing, and painting. At just 17, he embarked on a professional path in the creative industry, contributing his talents to commercials, films, and music videos as both an art department specialist and photographer. “Reality,” Archain muses, “is a delicate construct. There exists a subtle line between our tangible world and the vast unknown that lies beyond. We must challenge our perceptions daily.” This philosophy fueled his desire to transform his thoughts and dreams into visual narratives that often embrace the surreal. For Archain, emotions and imagination take precedence over conventional reality. “If something manifests in a photograph, it exists. It transcends into a state that is both surreal and real,” he explains. His artistic vision has garnered attention from major brands, including Coca-Cola, O2, Cardinal Draft Beer, Swisscom, Absolut, Sony Ericsson, Bacardi, Kraft, Universal Music, and Convene Magazine NY, among others. With each project, Archain continues to blur the lines between the conceivable and the extraordinary, inviting audiences to explore the depths of their own imaginations.
