Captivated by the lens at just 17, Luis began his creative exploration by capturing the essence of his friends on Super 8 film. His ambition brought him to New York in 1994, where he honed his craft and launched his professional career, culminating in the publication of his first monograph in 2018. Renowned for his distinctive aesthetic, Luis's work is characterized by a profound mastery of mood, color, and lighting—elements that elevate his imagery above the ordinary.
