Kim Roselier
Bio
Kim Roselier is a dynamic artist whose journey began with a formal education in graphic design at EPSAA. After honing their skills in New York alongside renowned stylist Gaby Basora, Kim returned to Paris with a renewed vision. Transitioning from graphic design to the world of drawing, Kim embraced color as an integral element of their artistic expression. Initially captivated by the expansive possibilities of painting, Kim found a profound appreciation for the mastery of color, which became a cornerstone of their practice. Today, they adeptly blend traditional techniques with digital artistry, creating works that possess both striking graphic impact and emotional depth. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, including the innovative designs of Tom Purvis and Horace Taylor, as well as the evocative narratives of Bacon, Matisse, and Gauguin, Kim crafts pieces that invite viewers to engage in personal interpretation. Straddling the line between graphic and pictorial art, their work harmonizes narrative elements with geometric abstraction, resulting in a poetic iconography that captivates audiences with its vibrant, pop-inspired palette. Kim's unique artistic vision has attracted a diverse clientele, with collaborations including Netflix, Tinder, Josh’s Chocolate, HarperCollins, and Sallie Mae, further establishing them as a prominent voice in contemporary art.
