Bio
Kim Kimble is a third-generation hairstylist who began her career as a shampoo girl in her family's salon in Los Angeles. She received professional training from the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy and Dudley Cosmetology University. In 1995, Kim opened her first salon, Phaze II, in Los Angeles. Her breakthrough came with her work on Halle Berry's film B*A*P*S, leading to further projects in the entertainment industry, including work with Brandy in Cinderella and Beyoncé in Austin Powers: Goldmember. Kim has been the primary hairstylist for all of Beyoncé’s projects, collaborating with a diverse range of celebrities such as Zendaya, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Shakira, and Mary J. Blige. In 2000, she expanded her business by opening Epiphany Hair Studio in West Hollywood and launched Kimble Beauty, a hair care line addressing the needs of women of color. In 2013, she developed K2 Beauty, further expanding her product offerings. Her work has been featured in major publications including Vogue, CR Fashion Book, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, and Allure, and she has worked with renowned photographers like Patrick Demarchelier, David LaChapelle, Tyler Mitchell, Mario Testino, Gilles Bensimon, and Annie Leibovitz. Her innovative styling techniques have been showcased in advertisements for global brands like Neutrogena, Nike, CoverGirl, L’Oréal, and Pepsi.
