Bio

Kerry's artistic journey unfolds between the vibrant landscapes of Los Angeles and Alexandria, VA, where she cultivated her unique vision. A graduate of Boston University, she honed her skills in photojournalism while simultaneously embracing the competitive world of rowing. This dynamic background laid the foundation for her photography, characterized by a graphic elegance that captures the interplay of light and form. Growing up in California, Kerry was deeply influenced by the enchanting way sunlight transforms architecture and everyday objects into something extraordinary. Her early mornings on the water instilled in her a profound appreciation for how light accentuates the natural beauty of her subjects. This fascination is evident in her work, where she portrays women with an empowering confidence and strength that resonates deeply. After a period of assisting established photographers, Kerry took a bold step to London, where she began to articulate her own artistic vision. Her striking imagery has garnered international acclaim, appearing in prestigious publications such as Vogue Italia, L'Uomo Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Sunday Times Style, Elle UK, Elle Paris, Muse, Arena Homme Plus, i-D, Purple, The Face, Details, and Interview. Her commercial work is equally impressive, with clients like Nike, Luxottica, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Neiman Marcus seeking her distinctive style. Kerry's notable contributions to the art world include her participation in The Met's celebrated spring 2013 Costume Institute exhibition, "PUNK: Chaos to Couture," where her work was featured alongside iconic pieces of fashion history. Currently, Kerry divides her creative energy between the bustling cities of New York and Los Angeles, continually exploring new ways to express the beauty and strength of her subjects through her lens.
