Kat, a native of the vibrant suburbs of Los Angeles, cultivates her artistic vision through the lens of her rich surroundings. A graduate of the esteemed Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, she has journeyed through the dynamic landscapes of Orange County and the enchanting hills of Silverlake, each location adding depth to her creative narrative. Her extensive travels along the California coast inspire her distinctive style, resulting in spontaneous, evocative imagery that captures the essence of sun-soaked days, swaying palm trees, and the delicious allure of food trucks. Kat’s work radiates a laid-back energy and harnesses the magic of natural light, inviting viewers to escape the ordinary and embrace a sense of wanderlust. Beyond her artistic endeavors, she finds joy in knitting and nurturing her ever-growing collection of houseplants in her charming bungalow in Atwater Village, where she shares her life with her husband Evan and their beloved black cat, Jiji.
