Julia Marie Werner is a dynamic photographer whose artistic journey began after high school when she ventured abroad to Paris, igniting her passion for the lens. Her formative years in photography were marked by an invaluable apprenticeship at the esteemed René Staud Studios, where she honed her skills before stepping into the world as a photo assistant from 2007 to 2012. A brief but transformative stay in Cape Town further enriched her creative vision and laid the groundwork for her emergence as a distinguished photo designer in Hamburg. While Julia's professional foundation is rooted in automotive photography, her artistic pursuits extend far beyond the realm of cars. She masterfully captures the essence of people and animals in their natural habitats, often weaving compelling narratives through thoughtfully constructed scenes. Her diverse and extensive commercial portfolio features collaborations with a plethora of renowned international brands and prestigious magazines. In addition to her commercial success, Julia is an active member of the HERSPECTIVE collective and contributes her talents to ARTHELPS, a meaningful initiative aimed at enriching the lives of children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds through creative expression. Her artistic prowess gained global recognition with her striking photographic series, "the BIG CITY LION,” which captivated audiences and showcased her unique ability to blend storytelling with visual artistry.
