Julia Green is one of those people who always knew what she wanted to do. Except for a brief moment where she thought being an archaeologist might take her on some amazing adventures, most of the time she was buried in fashion magazines. Her bedroom was plastered in their pages, so that where ever she looked she got lost in the fantasy of fashion and beauty. That obsession has never waned, in fact over the years, it has come into sharp focus. For the past 20+ years, Julia has had a full career working seamlessly across fashion editorial, advertising, runway shows, tv commercials, film, music videos and celebrity clients. Julia’s calm onset nature and ease with her skills makes her a highly sort after creative. Her work fits perfectly to any client brief and she can also lead the hair and makeup creative when required. Julia relishes in collaborating with the team to create the overall vision. Whatever the look that Julia is creating, her mantra is ‘Is this beautiful?’. Be it for a commercial shoot or editorial, she aims for beauty. In 2019, Julia was awarded the Makeup Artist Guild Asia Pacific – ‘Makeup Shot of the Year’ Advertising clients include Maybelline New York, Garnier, Inika Organic, Raww Cosmetics, DB Cosmetics, Nike, Speedo, Georg Jensen, Tourism Australia, Fetch TV, Thurley, CottonOn, Just Jeans and Bonds. Julia has enjoyed working with celebrities such as Rachel Griffiths, Eric Bana, Essie Davis, Ruby Rose, Rachael Taylor, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Magda Szubanski, Elizabeth Debicki, Sigrid Thornton, Lisa McCune, Kerry Armstrong, Georgie Gardner, Tiff Hall and Anna Heinrich.
