Bio

Leading hair stylist Johnny Hynes has over 25 years’ experience, which includes his time spent with the very best of London’s hair scene - Vidal Sassoon, Trevor Sorbie and Keith Harris. With a signature style that is very eclectic, Johnny has drawn on the many styles, cultures and people he has worked with over the course of his career to cultivate something unique, embodying all hair genres and influences – classical, edgy, raw and simple beauty. Currently based in Sydney, Johnny divides his time between looking after his clients and working on numerous editorial shoots for fashion magazines in Sydney, London and New York. Johnny’s work has also featured in Europe’s biggest fashion shows including Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabanna, Michael Kors, Etro and many more. His work also includes fashion shoots for major advertising campaigns spread across numerous publications. Editorial work includes Harpers Bazaar, Elle,Grazia and L’officiel. Johnny is also the preferred hair stylist working alongside emerging designers across NSW helping them showcase their final collections.
