Jingyu Lin, affectionately known as ‘Jean,’ is a dynamic photographer hailing from the suburbs of Chicago. Her passion for photography ignited during her high school years, where she began capturing the essence of her friends and their stories. This early fascination blossomed into a professional pursuit when she gained admission to university, where she skillfully balanced her studies in public health with the development of her photography portfolio. Upon graduating, Jingyu made the bold move to New York, immersing herself in the vibrant world of photography. She refined her craft by assisting a diverse array of acclaimed photographers, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of the industry. Jingyu's work is characterized by a dreamy, romantic color palette, evident in her intimate film images that celebrate her editorial subjects. With a profound appreciation for both portraiture and fashion photography, she masterfully encourages her subjects to embody different personas while capturing their authentic essence.
