Bio

Jason Rodgers is a talented photographer whose artistic journey began at the School of Visual Arts, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2006. His passion for capturing the human experience led to his debut solo exhibition, "Father Figures," at Envoy Gallery in New York in 2009, showcasing his distinctive approach to portraiture. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Jason honed his skills in the editorial realm, serving as the assistant to the Photo Editor at Radar Magazine in 2007. He then stepped into the role of Photo Editor at OUT Magazine from 2009 to 2011, where he further developed his eye for compelling imagery. In 2021, Jason took on the role of Photo Editor for Buds Digest, the pioneering queer cannabis magazine, marking a significant milestone in his career and highlighting his commitment to diverse narratives within the visual arts. Since 2011, Jason has embraced a full-time photography career, blending his artistic vision with editorial expertise. He currently resides in the picturesque Hudson Valley with his partner, balancing his work between the vibrant art scenes of New York and Los Angeles.
