Jakob Storm is a distinguished Danish photographer and an ambitious MA student at the Royal College of Art, whose artistic journey has been deeply influenced by his time as the first assistant and digital technician to the acclaimed Mario Testino. With a keen eye for detail and an innate ability to capture the overlooked, Jakob approaches his photography with both spontaneity and precision, resulting in striking imagery that resonates with authenticity. His extensive travels around the globe have provided him with rich experiences, allowing him to collaborate with some of the most iconic brands and talented individuals in the industry. Each project pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling, as Jakob seamlessly blends technical skill with a profound narrative sensibility. A recent highlight of Jakob's career is his innovative collaboration with Elle John of FE Creatives on a groundbreaking concept for MARNI. This campaign unveils a vibrant universe of artists, set against the backdrop of a Copenhagen warehouse that serves as both their creative sanctuary and community hub—one that is sadly slated for demolition at the end of 2021 in favor of luxury housing. Through this poignant project, Jakob not only highlights the artists' intuitive spirit and imaginative power but also raises questions about the preservation of creative spaces and the legacies they foster.
