Greg Wood has always been interested in lots of things. His career began in design (then creative direction), but eventually it was the multi-faceted nature of film making that would appease his hungry mind. And it’s this diverse background that informs the unique flavour of his commercials - dynamic, tactile, emotive, strikingly graphic and sometimes even funny. He embraces experimentation and his hands-on approach means he often gets passionately involved in many aspects of the production process. In his own words: “To me, commercials are about connecting with your audience. This can be a challenge though because viewers have become so discretionary and savvy with their consumption of media. So in order to connect, your campaign needs to stand out, entertain or move - ideally all three at once! In achieving these things, we earn the respect of our audience - and if we can do that amidst the noise of this cacophonous advertising landscape, then only then are we doing our job properly!”
