Gavin Bond is a distinguished graduate of the renowned St. Martin’s School of Art in London, where his artistic journey began to flourish. In the early 1990s, he carved a niche for himself by capturing the vibrant energy of backstage at international runway shows, establishing invaluable connections with some of the fashion industry's most esteemed designers and supermodels. His early career as a photographer saw him become a regular to prestigious publications such as Sydneyn Vogue and US Marie Claire, where he skillfully crafted fashion narratives across the globe. Now based in the United States, Gavin deftly balances his time between the East and West coasts, collaborating with a diverse array of clients. His portfolio spans key art campaigns for major studios and networks, immersive backstage experiences with world-renowned artists, and stunning swimwear shoots set against tropical backdrops. In recent years, Gavin has shifted his focus towards the moving image, integrating this dynamic medium into his work to provide clients with a comprehensive visual experience across all platforms. His passion for behind-the-scenes photography remains strong; he has been a dedicated photographer for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for over 14 years, and this remarkable body of work is set to culminate in a major exhibition in 2018. Beyond the realm of fashion, Gavin is deeply committed to philanthropy. He has been working closely with the foundation "Black Jaguar White Tiger," traveling to Mexico City for the past two years to document the majestic felines rescued from dire circumstances, ensuring they receive the dignity and love they deserve. These poignant images will be featured in a global exhibit aimed at raising awareness for the foundation's vital work.
