Erez Sabag embarked on his artistic journey at just 16 years old as a fashion photographer in Israel, and has since evolved into a multifaceted photographer, director, and artist. Now based in New York, Erez's work resonates on an international scale, garnering features in prestigious publications such as Vogue, Dazed & Confused, InStyle, Elle, Glamour, Marie Claire, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar, as well as recognition at esteemed events like the International Fashion Festival in Japan. With a keen eye for detail and a talent for visual storytelling, Erez has directed impactful advertising campaigns for renowned brands, including Shiseido, Maybelline, Pantene, Olay, Lancôme, L’Oréal, YSL Beauty, and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, among others. Erez’s artistic voice extends beyond commercial work; he is also a published author of four critically acclaimed photography books. His debut publication, *My Favorite T-Shirt*, premiered at Milk Gallery in New York and Palais de Tokyo in Paris, offering an intimate glimpse into the lives of a select group of artists through a blend of photography and video. His second book, *Gorgiality*, boldly challenges contemporary ideals of femininity and beauty norms and launched to acclaim at the Robert Miller Gallery in New York. In 2018, he introduced *Reconstructed*, a poignant photographic project that marries the Japanese art of Kintsugi with the narrative of breast cancer survival, showcased at the T.F. Chen Gallery in New York. Erez's most recent endeavor, *RESTORED*, celebrates the resilience of breast cancer previvors and survivors through striking portraits that reveal their scars. This powerful collection was launched on November 15, 2021, at Lavan Gallery in New York, further solidifying Erez Sabag's status as a leading voice in contemporary photography and art.
