Bio

Eolo Perfido, born in Cognac, Paris in 1972, is a distinguished portrait photographer renowned for his expertise in corporate, advertising, and travel photography. His journey into the world of photography began with invaluable mentorship under legendary photographers such as Steve McCurry, Elliott Erwitt, Eugene Richards, and James Nachtwey, assisting them on assignments across , Africa, Asia, and South America. Perfido's striking imagery has graced the pages of prestigious publications including The New York Times, Communication Arts, Panorama First, Vision, Vogue Russia, GQ Russia, L’Espresso, and Computer Arts. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with numerous renowned international agencies and clients, including JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, BBDO, Corbis, Pepsi Cola, Samsung, Ford, Opel, Kraft, Casio, Gatorade, Sky Television, and Novartis. In recognition of his creative prowess, Eolo received the first prize from the National Association of Professional Photographers in Italy (Tau Visual) in 2009. His accolades continued in 2010 when he was honored as the Best International Photographer at the Photo Vernissage exhibition in St. Petersburg, competing against hundreds of photographers from around the globe. A year later, L’Espresso showcased Eolo among a select group of ten young Italian creatives, who were invited to visually narrate the 150th anniversary of Italy's Unification. Beyond commercial work, Perfido pursues a personal artistic vision, exhibiting in numerous private galleries. His acclaimed series "Clownville" garnered significant attention, showcased at a solo exhibition during the International Circus Festival at the Galleria Janet Coast in Recife, Brazil, and a personal exhibition at the Leica Gallery in Rome in 2019. In 2016, he co-founded Storm Studio, a digital artists' collective with Fabio Timpanaro and Antonella Catanese, specializing in post-production and 3D CGI. As an Elinchrom Ambassador since 2017, Eolo represents one of the leading brands in flash photography. He is also a prominent resident photographer at the Leica Akademie in Italy and is celebrated as one of the country's foremost street photographers. In addition to his photographic endeavors, Eolo has developed a series of highly successful international workshops focused on Portrait Photography, Travel Portraits, Street Photography, and Post Production. In 2019, he launched ExibartStreet, a leading online magazine dedicated to street photography, further solidifying his impact in the photographic community.
