Among her most impactful experiences was her collaboration with pediatric heart specialists in the mountainous regions of Honduras, where she documented life-saving open-heart surgeries. Her recent projects include contributions to Vogue Mexico and a poignant series of portraits commissioned by NBC, which shed light on the harrowing realities of human trafficking. Through her lens, Lavin continues to challenge perceptions and inspire change, making her a pivotal voice in contemporary photography.
