Bio

Efi Gousi is an accomplished Greek photographer and director, currently based in the vibrant creative hubs of Paris and London. A graduate of the prestigious National Theatre of Northern Greece – Drama School, she completed her studies in 2008, laying the foundation for her dynamic artistic career. Efi’s photography delves into the intricacies of the female experience, presenting a captivating exploration through a surrealist lens that challenges conventional narratives. Her editorial prowess is exemplified through her collaboration with Dior, where she played a pivotal role in crafting the cover for Dior Magazine No. 36 (Winter 2021), an achievement that solidified her reputation in the fashion industry. Beyond photography, Efi has directed prominent theatrical performances, including Lars Von Trier's "Dogville" (2015) and Sarah Kane's "Cleansed" (2014). Her talents extend to music, where she has created visually stunning shows and music videos for leading pop artists in Greece. In 2019, Efi proudly represented Greece as the Creative Director at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, showcasing her innovative vision on an international stage. Her work has been featured in a variety of esteemed group exhibitions, including M. Contemporary in Sydney, Fondazione Luciana Matalon in Milan, the International Photo Expo in Paris, Mars Gallery in Tel Aviv, the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, and Kappatos Gallery in Athens. Efi Gousi continues to push the boundaries of art and storytelling, leaving an indelible mark on the contemporary creative landscape.
