Bio
Dream Girls Art Collective is an inspiring collaboration between artists Miriama Grace-Smith, Xoë Hall, and Gina Kiel, who are redefining the boundaries of street art and contemporary artistic expression. Their innovative approach not only captivates audiences but also ignites conversations, offering fresh perspectives that challenge conventional norms within the genre. By paving the way for emerging female-identifying creatives, they are transforming the art landscape and empowering a new generation of artists to make their mark. Their vibrant murals and installations can be found throughout the public spaces of Porirua and Wellington, including the dynamic lifts of a co-working hub, bustling car parks, and construction hoardings, as well as shop windows that bring color to the urban environment. Notably, their striking stage art was featured at last year's CubaDupa festival, celebrating the fusion of art and community. Additionally, Dream Girls Art Collective has showcased their work in the beloved Wellington vintage shop, Hunters and Collectors, and within the curated walls of Toi Pōneke Gallery, further solidifying their presence in the local art scene.
