Dorian & Daniel are an innovative directing duo based in Berlin and Vancouver, who first crossed paths in film school in 2012. Dubbed the 'Spec Ad Masters' by Adweek, they gained widespread acclaim with their poignant spec ad ‘Dear Brother’ for Johnnie Walker in 2016, which has since garnered over 20 million views and received numerous accolades, serving as a catalyst for their flourishing careers. Nearly a decade after their initial collaboration, Dorian & Daniel have partnered with prestigious brands and agencies worldwide, skillfully merging their distinct perspectives to craft poetic narratives. Their cinematic storytelling is characterized by striking visuals and profound emotional resonance, setting their work apart in a competitive landscape. Their impressive portfolio has earned them accolades at some of the most prestigious advertising festivals globally. Notably, their campaign for Samsung secured five D&AD pencils, including a coveted yellow pencil, as well as a gold and three silver Clios, and two Gold Lions and a Silver Lion at Cannes—marking a significant achievement as the first golden Film Lion for Germany in years.
