Filipino-American artist Danilo Hess has long captivated audiences with his keen eye for photography, a passion that blossomed in his early years through various fine art mediums, including photorealism and painting. It was during his college days that he unearthed a profound love for photography in the darkroom, making him one of the last students to receive a traditional education in analog techniques. Danilo's journey took him to New York, where he pursued a degree in photography at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. Over the next eight years, he traversed the globe, honing his skills and working with both film and digital formats. He considers himself fortunate to belong to a generation that witnessed the transformative shift from analog to digital photography. With an emphasis on natural light, Danilo's work exudes a cinematic quality, characterized by meticulous planning and exquisite composition. His artistry has caught the attention of esteemed clients, including Vogue, L'Officiel, Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Essential Homme, Asics, Nike, Reebok, Converse, Macy's, and Lands' End.
