Dane Tashima

Hailing from the vibrant landscapes of Texas, Dane has traversed an eclectic path that led him through the artistic hubs of Hawaii, Chicago, and Los Angeles, before joyfully returning to the East Coast with his beloved family. A proud alumnus of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Dane's creative journey began with a childhood aspiration to become a puppeteer—a passion that still ignites his imagination today (he welcomes inquiries about his puppetry adventures!). Currently, he is embracing new challenges by re-learning the piano and honing his juggling skills, while delighting in the melodies of three songs on the ukulele. With an adventurous spirit and a dedication to his craft, Dane continues to explore the intersection of art and play in his life and work.
