Bio
Corey Arnold is a multifaceted artist residing in the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge, just outside Portland, Oregon. As both a commercial fisherman and a photographer, Corey immerses himself in the rhythms of nature, spending two months each summer captaining a wild sockeye salmon fishing operation in the pristine waters of Bristol Bay, Alaska. The rest of the year, he channels his adventurous spirit into photography, balancing gallery projects, assignments, and cherished family time in the wilderness. Corey thrives in challenging environments, often embracing the elements—whether at sea or in remote landscapes—where he captures the raw beauty of the world around him. His striking photographs have garnered international acclaim, with exhibitions at prestigious venues such as the Portland Art Museum and the Annenberg Space for Photography. He is proudly represented by Charles A. Hartman Fine Art in Portland and Richard Heller Gallery in Los Angeles.
