Connor Brock

Bio

Connor was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, where he was surrounded by his father's hand-made furniture and learned the basics of wood-crafting at a young age. As a teenager, Connor spent his time selling his own hand-crafted skateboards out of his garage and developing his skills as a stop-motion artist and filmmaker. His passion for creating moving pictures that inspire people was solidified when he was accepted into a youth film festival in Seattle and watched a short film of his surrounded by a packed crowd in a movie theatre. With a wealth of experience in every part of the filmmaking process, Connor is a capable Set Designer, Art Director, Master 2D/3D Animator and Offline/Online Editor. Connor brings a mixed-media approach to his work and is particularly inspired by the practical special effects of the 70s and 80s; he is always looking for ways to incorporate them into his digital creations. When he's not working on his latest project, Connor can be found in sunny Los Angeles, indulging in his love for surfing, sewing, and wood-crafting.
