Bio
Cheyenne is a multifaceted artist whose unique background seamlessly blends the worlds of photography and stunt performance. Growing up as the daughter of a photographer and a stuntman-turned-film director, she was immersed in the dynamic and exhilarating landscape of visual storytelling from an early age. Cheyenne honed her photographic skills at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography, where she cultivated her creative vision and technical expertise. Her formative years included a transformative apprenticeship under the legendary photographer Irving Penn in New York, an experience she describes as one of the most enriching periods of her life. Following this mentorship, she returned to California to carve out her own artistic path, drawing on her rich family heritage in the stunt industry—a world akin to a vibrant circus. Cheyenne performed her first stunt at just eight years old, and her early experiences in this high-energy environment helped fund her education, showcasing her commitment to both her craft and her family legacy. Now, as a successful photographer and retired stuntwoman, Cheyenne finds herself most at home on set, where she effortlessly merges her diverse skills. Based in the picturesque Half Moon Bay, California, she divides her time between the artistic hubs of Los Angeles and San Francisco, traveling globally for various projects. Cheyenne's deep-rooted connection to nature—nurtured during her childhood in the mountain town of Mammoth Lakes and along the sun-kissed beaches of Malibu—infuses her work with an authentic sense of place and emotion. Her approachable demeanor and innate ability to connect with her subjects allow her to capture stunning, timeless imagery that radiates joy and authenticity. Cheyenne's photographs invite viewers into a world of exuberance and storytelling, embodying her belief that everyone deserves an all-access pass to happiness. Through her lens, she creates an inviting atmosphere where beauty flourishes and memories are vividly immortalized.
