Celyn is a multifaceted artist whose journey began as an animator and motion director, shaping his unique vision and creative approach. A proud graduate of Central St. Martins, he made his mark in the industry with his groundbreaking contributions to the acclaimed BBC2 satire *Monkey Dust*, which garnered multiple awards for its innovative storytelling and visual style. His impressive portfolio extends to creating striking press artwork and directing memorable commercials for Honda, as part of the iconic rebranding campaign orchestrated by Wieden+Kennedy. Celyn's background in animation infuses his work with a distinct dynamism, energy, and meticulous compositional detail that captivates audiences. While his artistic practice is diverse and ever-evolving, Celyn remains deeply connected to the timeless craft of hand-drawn art on paper. He believes that "sketchbook work, doodles, and illustration should never be completely separate pursuits," a philosophy that reflects his desire to capture the spontaneity of his imagination. Through a seductive clear-line style, he imbues his designs with a graceful flow that brings his vibrant ideas to life. Celyn's client list reads like a who's who of prestigious organizations, including Kew Gardens, the World Wildlife Fund, MIT, The New York Times, Honda, Toyota, The Guardian, The New Yorker, the Financial Times, Dow Jones, Fortune Magazine, Waitrose, Le Monde, Adidas, Coca-Cola, British Airways, and many others. He has also designed a series of scarves and fabrics for Lush Cosmetics and directed a short film titled *The Map Table* for Vitra in collaboration with Barber Osgerby.
