Bio

In 1986, a serendipitous encounter with a Polaroid camera set the stage for my lifelong journey in photography. Capturing Princess Diana on my second shot during Expo ’86 in Vancouver at the tender age of 10 ignited my passion for exploring the intricacies of the human experience. That moment marked the beginning of my dedication to illuminating the most captivating facets of people through my lens. Driven by a desire to challenge the conventional boundaries of my craft, I have contributed my work to esteemed publications such as VICE, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times. My portfolio includes memorable collaborations with renowned artists like Leon Bridges, Charles Bradley, Saul Williams, and Ronnie Hawkins. Today, I continue to create compelling portrait and entertainment photography for major networks including FOX, CBC, CBS, SYFY, A&E, and CW, consistently pushing the envelope of visual storytelling. Throughout my career, I have founded four influential art initiatives: Pallas, Drawn to Develop, Front Lines, and the Covet Exhibition. A highlight of my journey was a solo exhibition at PhotoLA in 2019, held at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, where I showcased my vision to a broader audience. As an inspired wanderer and a collector of people and places, I revel in the beauty of fleeting moments. My career is a testament to my commitment to creating high-caliber work that resonates across various media and platforms, and I am continually excited by the opportunities that lie ahead to engage with fascinating subjects and stories.
