Bio
It was while watching Top Gun as a teenager, I decided I wanted to be a pilot, mainly because I wanted to travel the world and have an interesting life. But soon after completing an aviation science degree, flying and wearing a uniform soon lost its appeal. So I joined a band and surfed my local reef break for a few years then decamped to San Francisco where I lived in the Mission district, waited tables and discovered my passion for photography. After studying at San Francisco”s College of Fine Arts, I returned to Australia to begin my photography career in Sydney. Fast-forward 20 years and I'm fortunate to be busy shooting for editorial and advertising clients around the world. I get to shoot all the things I love: beautiful homes and hotels, amazing food and the creative people who make them. I love the variety that interior, architecture, lifestyle and food photography bring. But whatever I”m shooting, I like to give it a mood or an emotion. The aim is to make the images modern and relaxed yet timeless. When I”m not on the road with a camera, life at home in Sydney is also amazing (and hectic) with my wife Jody and my three girls Scarlett, Roxie and Olive.
